Together with the rest of the nation, we are remembering and honouring our veterans. The legacies of different generations of Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice as well as the men and women who are serving today must always be remembered. Their bravery, strength and skill helped safeguard and create the freedom that we have today. May we never take for granted all they have done for us and for our country. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget Our clinic will be CLOSED Wed... Nov 11, 2020. In case of emergency, please call Fish Creek Pet Hospital @ (403) 873-1700

Does your pet appear to be slowing down? We can Help!! From Oct 15-Nov 30 we will be celebrating Senior Pet Month. Due to improved Veterinary care and dietery habits, pets are now living longer and healthier lives! As your pet ages, it becomes even more important to take him/her to your veterinarian for regular wellness checks. Hand in hand with a longer life span comes a host of age-related conditions.... Some conditions that aging cats and dogs can experience include: * osteoarthritis * reduced muscle tone (from less exercise with more sleeping) * obesity * lack of interest in eating (due to reduced sense of smell and taste) * dental disease * age-related changes in liver, kidney, and digestive tract functions * loss of hearing * vision impairment * cancer Schedule an appointment with your veterinarian if you notice any changes in your pet’s behavior, urination or defecation habits, sleeping habits, weight, exercise tolerance, or skin and coat condition. Your veterinarian will perform a senior wellness check which may include a complete physical exam, dental check, body condition score, pain assessment, bloodwork, urinalysis, and nutrition review. Some of these evaluations allow your veterinarian to detect disease before obvious signs are present, enabling earlier care and treatment. Call our clinic today to book an appointment (403) 278-3168

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Connie Tuck, who recently moved from Ontario to join our dynamic team! With interest in nutrition and ophthalmology, Dr. Tuck became a veterinarian to make a difference in the lives of animals. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming and gardening. Dr. Tuck is looking forward to getting to know you and your furry family members!
