Tonight on Acceleration Radio! In the guest mix tonight is a long time friend of the show and our first international guest - Roche /@ehcorrrrrr " San Francisco-based Roche is a prolific producer, collaborator, live performer and DJ with releases on Jacktone, 100% Silk, Mathematics, Perfect Location Recordings, Hobo Camp, Vinyl Dreams, and most recently Last Faith Studios. He co-hosted the 3 year-running weekly event series, Run the Length of Your Wildness, co-founded by Ch...erushii (Rest In Peace) and later with the help of DJ's Experimental Housewife, Arnold and BlakeBlakeBlake. Roche's sound is the sound of improvisation and spontaneity, the distillation of innumerable live sets and studio jams. Always experimenting and innovating: crafting the sonic glue of synthesized psychedelia and warm drums that recall his past as a producer of hip-hop and breaks, Roche links the past with the future." You know what to do! Be sure to tune in tonight to CFRO 100.5FM from 11pm-midnight, or stream online at Coopradio.org

Tonight on Acceleration Radio! In the guest mix tonight is DJ Wizbo with a killer 160bpm Footwork mix titled "ZERO COOL". We found DJ Wizbo after hearing his mix for Normie Corporation, and were instantly jazzed to find another footwork head. Reylinn will be filling out the second half of the episode with some grime, deconstructed club, jersey club, and experimental tunes. ... "when DJ Wizbo isn't in a deep dark basement tinkering on bicycles, he can be found playing with cameras or watching terrible movies. hailing from East Van he grew up on sugary sweet pop music and BET Uncut but these days he prefers to listen to things that sound like your brain is being uploaded into a satellite in the year 30XX" Be sure to tune in to CFRO 100.5FM from 11pm-midnight, or stream online at Coopradio.org !

Tonight on Acceleration Radio! We're thrilled to have synth-pop producer Funny Death on the show tonight with an hour long guest mix packed with original tracks, along with a couple tracks by friends. This mix really opened up our ears to the variety of sounds under the synth pop umbrella of subgenres, and we highly recommend tuning in tonight! Be sure to set that dial to CFRO 100.5FM from 11pm-12am, or stream online @ Coopradio.org. You can find their music online here: ... https://funnydeath.bandcamp.com/music https://soundcloud.com/funnydeath "Jad Mroue (they/them, born Jan 21, 1992), known professionally as Funny Death, is a Lebanese musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, music video director and visual artist who grew up mostly in Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Switzerland and Japan, before immigrating to Canada. Their music incorporates elements of their different cultural backgrounds and varied styles including synthpop, dreampop, art pop, electronic and experimental pop. With their forcibly nomadic lifestyle, due to the 4 wars they fled before finally moving to Japan, where they stabilized, Jad’s music has inherently been virtual, with the help of in-bedroom-recorded vocals and music video collaborations. Their sources of influences range from the birth of PC Music during Tumblr’s prime time, 80’s synthpop with P2P's golden age in the early 2000’s, the more recent underground scenes in Tokyo and Vancouver, to the French post-colonial influence on their home countries, with the rise of acts such as Daft Punk, Air, Justice and the French Touch movement."
