Since school classes were cancelled on Sunday, March 15th, Alberta Education and school divisions have been working together to create a plan for how we will support students from this point forward. Although classes are cancelled, student learning will continue through the rest of this school year. School divisions are working together and with the government to plan learning supports to share with students and parents. We will reach out to parents next week (March 24th or later) with an update. The safety of students and staff remain our top priority. The Minister of Education indicated that students will be getting a final mark and progressing to a higher grade next year. Gr. 6 and 9 Provincial tests will be cancelled but Diplomas may occur (only for courses essential to college and university admittance).

Today at 5:00 pm, the Premier and Dr Hinshaw (Chief Officer of Health) have directed all K-12 Alberta schools to close indefinitely. The province is implementing aggressive new measures given that we now have community transmission of COVID-19 occurring in Alberta. Students will no longer be attending school until further notice. We know that many of you have questions and concerns. Please continue to watch our website. We will update the site once more information becomes a...vailable, and we will communicate vital information via email. Please do your best to remain patient and calm. We are doing our best to keep all students & parents up to date with the most current information.

UPDATE: EPIC Career day: Bus leave ACE at 8:30pm(or after bus students arrive to ACE), and will be back to the school by 3pm or in time for the afternoon buses.
