Message from the Chapter President We are excited to announce a new schedule of technical webinars for the 2020-21 season! The pandemic has affected all of us, the Chapter’s monthly dinner meetings were no exception. Dinner meeting events were cancelled in March 2020 with the onset of COVID-19 and have not re-started due to ongoing public health orders. We were able to conclude the previous season with a virtual Annual General Meeting held on July 29, 2020. I would like... to take this opportunity welcome the new Executive and thank our volunteer Board of Direction for their ongoing dedication to the Chapter. On behalf of the Board, welcome to the start of our 2020-21 season of events! Chapter events will look different this season. The Board is excited to roll out a new series of (roughly) monthly lunchtime technical webinars, the first occurring later this month on October 28, 2020 at noon. Details of the topic and presenter can be found on our website. You should also have received the Webinar Notification by email yesterday. We will be using Zoom to host these webinars, and are looking forward to engaging topics that keep our members informed on the latest concrete knowledge and best practice. Until further notice, we expect these lunchtime webinars to be provided free of charge to Chapter Members throughout the 2020-21 season, at least until things return to normal.
