Azerbaijanis living in Luxembourg held a protest rally in Place d'Armes", AzVision.az reports citing the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora. The protesters condemned the acts of vandalism committed by the occupying Armenian army in Ganja and firing on the civilian settlements resulted in the death of civilians, including minors and women, and the destruction of civilian facilities. It was also noted that the heavy artillery shelling of the Azerbaijani cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, Tartar, Goranboy, Barda, Yevlakh, Agdam and other regions is a continuation of Armenia's aggressive policy against Azerbaijan.

On behalf of Toronto's Azerbaijani community, we want to express our deepest concerns about your attitude towards Canadian national minorities. We are predominantly disturbed about the statement you have published on October 9th, emphasizing a Canadian citizen who went to war in Karabakh to support Armenian separatist/terrorist troops occupying internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan. On October 10th, both sides agreed to a ceasefire, and several hours later, Armenian troops shelled the civilians in the cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, Azerbaijan. These cities are situated far from the conflict zone; nevertheless, it doesn't stop Armenian terrorists. Several people are dead, and many injured, including children, women and seniors, and the attacks are ongoing to the hour. We can provide proof if you need it, although you can easily find it in the news. On October 11th Armenian protests in Toronto resulted in one Canadian beaten up on the street, and another Canadian resident's car got vandalized by the protestors. We are sure you already have this information from the RCMP. Every 10th Azerbaijani is a victim of the Karabakh war. Thousands of Azerbaijanis living in Toronto are deeply insulted by your one-sided statement. We demand an immediate public apology, and we ask you to be equally respectful to all Toronto residents. Dear Representatives of the Liberal Party of Canada, We write to express our deepest concerns regarding François-Philippe Champagne’s recent foreign policy actions. We are particularly upset that Mr. Champagne has banned the sale of Canadian technology to the Turkish military (the second-largest army... in NATO). We understand that the main reason for this decision is Mr. Champagne’s discontent with Turkey’s support of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity as the Azeris fight Armenian separatist/terrorist troops on their own soil. We believe that these decisions have been made under French and Armenian lobby pressure, which concerns us even more. We would like to remind you that François-Philippe Champagne greatly supported exporting lethal weapons to Saudi Arabia, which has used them to kill thousands in Yemen. Maintaining this sort of double standard pulls Canada into the foreign politics war game, which can only bring unrest to Canadian residents. Foreign powers have no right to influence our politicians. With this particular action, Mr. Champagne has insulted tens of thousands of Turks and Azerbaijanis living in Canada. What do we see? A friendship between two nations, which had lasted for decades, in an instant, was destroyed by Armenia’s separatist ideology and government. Armenia, do you remember the cruelties you have inflicted on to your Azerbaijani neighbours during your occupation of Karabakh? Do you remember what you did in 1992 to the entire town of Azerbaijan civilians? #Khojaly ... Azerbaijani land has been under the illegal military occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh by Armenia for 28 years. Nearly a million Azerbaijanis have been expelled of their home so that 150 thousand Armenians can occupy it for themselves. Nagorno-Karabakh is not a disputed territory. It’s an internationally recognized part of Azerbaijan, which has been illegally occupied by Armenia for almost 30 years. Armenia didn't stop at #NagornoKarabakh and continued the ethnic cleansing. As a result, 7 adjacent regions, which Armenia had never claimed before, were occupied. Having expelled nearly a million Azerbaijanis from their home, Armenia called these 7 regions a "buffer zone". For 28 years Armenia has ignored a series of international documents and resolutions, including 4 UN Security Council resolutions demanding Armenia’s immediate withdrawal out of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Are you willing to donate 20% of your homeland to Armenia? Are you willing to donate to terrorism? A million Azerbaijani refugees have been waiting 30 years to return to their home. We want to return home. We want a peaceful sky over our heads and our lands under feet.
