Acme Prop Shop is hiring! Job position: Film Prop Warehouse Associate Description: - We are a family owned Film Prop Warehouse looking for someone to join our small team. We are open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and are looking for someone to work full time, 8 hour days. 10 hour shifts with over-time pay will be available during the busier periods. - Competitive wages! - Forklift skills or a willingness to learn how to drive a forklift are a huge asset. - Any general knowled...ge and experience with props, antiques, period furniture, and the film industry are also good assets. - We communicate in house with radios and with customers using company-provided phones. Basic job duties include: - Working with customers to find props suitable for their production amongst our very large inventory - Overseeing orders that go in and out of the warehouse with precision - Organizing inventory - Maintaining a clean work space Desirable Qualities and Skills: - Good customer service skills - Fork lift skills, or a willingness to learn - Detail oriented, for creating displays and assessing condition of inventory upon return - Basic skills with hand tools and minor furniture/electrical repairs - Ability to work independently for long stretches - Able to lift 50lbs. - Ability to meet deadlines - Basic skills with technology, especially iPhone Please include a resume with your application!
