West Central Women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) and Spence Neighbourhood Association (SNA) have teamed up with generous funding from End Homeless Winnipeg to open a Warming Centre in the West End. The Warming Centre is in the large gym at the Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre at 430 Langside St. and is open from 10am-2pm from Monday to Friday. It offers a space to warm up for 30 minutes, a hot meal, and access to hygiene items, harm reduction supplies, winter gear, and washrooms. Staff on-site can also connect people to housing supports, gender-based violence supports, as well as health, mental health, and substance use supports as needed.

Quote of the week : "The only limit to success is your own imagination" - Shonda Rhimes Many are too afraid of going all in because they fear failure. Remember that success is the result of determination, hard work and learning from failure. Be great and have a wonderful week!!
