Oggi, sabato 7 marzo, ore 13.00, tutti sintonizzati su Radio3 Rai per seguire la trasmissione "Le Meraviglie": in occasione del 50esimo compleanno d...ella Scuola Diana di Reggio Emilia, inaugurata il 7 marzo 1970, Laura Pazzaglia racconterà questa scuola davvero unica. Ascoltate qui il risultato di una bellissima giornata, dove tante persone di cuore e di testa si sono incontrate: Laura Pazzaglia, attrice e progettista culturale, Federica Barozzi, regista della trasmissione, Evelina Reverberi, insegnante Simona Spaggiari, atelierista. E molte altre. E'stata una esperienza che scalda il cuore,in tempi come questi, dove crescono le preoccupazioni e le distanze tra le persone. What is the image of the child? What is the child’s bio-cultural reality? What are the rights of personal and social autonomy and subjectivity? What are their rights of citizenship? The part of the issue, on my part and on our part, is declaring the historical, biological, psychological and cultural nature of how the child enters life. Children are the fruit of life itself, and from the very beginning as newborn babies they weave dynamic processes of interactive co-existence and growth with life, and from birth they continue with their specific ways of relating. Their interactions with adults, cultures, environment, things, shadows, colours, spaces, times, sounds, smells and tastes immediately situate them in a world of communication and exchange, from which they take and receive, combining and selecting sensations, emotions, sentiments. The Ontario Reggio Association is pleased to announce the upcoming Fall conference with Tiziana Filippini. ENCOUNTERS WITH A PEDAGOGISTA: CO-LABOURING PEDAGOGY... AS AN ETHICAL RELATIONSHIP What is Pedagogy? What is education? What is the relationship between them? How might we co-labour pedagogies? How do we work alongside pedagogies? What is a pedagogista able to see? What is our view of the child? How do we make visible our view of the child? How does the pedagogista uncover the uncertainties and tensions that are always there? What does the pedagogista bring to making visible the view of the child? The Ontario Reggio Association welcomes you to a reception at the London Children’s Museum on Friday evening, October 12, 6:30 8:30 p.m. where there will be an opportunity to engage with a display of pedagogical documentation. At our conference at the University of Western Ontario on October 13 - 14, Tiziana Filippini will provoke our thinking about what it means to be an educator who co-labours to create contexts and opportunities to embrace confronto comparison of ways of thinking based on strongly held views of the competence and intelligence of children, educators, and families. Tiziana Filippini is a pedagogista who worked for the Municipality of Reggio Emilia from 1978 to 2015 as a member of the Pedagogical Coordinating Team of the Istituzione - Preschools and Infant Toddler Centres. She coordinated the Documentation and Educational Research Centre of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia (1994-2009) and also coordinated the professional learning activities for teachers and atelieristas of the infant-toddler centres and preschools. She was referent for the exhibition The Hundred Languages of Children and is one of the curators of the newer version of the exhibit "The Wonder of Learning: The Hundred Languages of Children". She was also the pedagogical supervisor of Officina Educativa, the department of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia that works with the compulsory school (6-14 years). Tiziana Filippini participated in the collaborative research project between Reggio Children and Harvard - Making Learning Visible - that then became a book well known in North America and all over the world. She continues to support educators around the world through consultations and conferences.
