Hi Everyone, Hospice of Waterloo Region is offering up two great opportunities to explore an incredible book that , in my opinion, is right up there with Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. "With the End in Mind" allows you to explore the conversations that matter as the reader sits down for tea with Kathryn and her patients. The author, Dr Kathryn Mannix, is a retired palliative care physician and a charming storyteller. I had the opportunity to interview her as her voice stood... out from so many during the early days of COVID19 when the focus on ACP became "do you or dont you want a ventilator"! I am using some of the clips already in my acp work and some will be shared as we discuss the book.
