I first met Andre in 2010 at our 1st Mexican retreat. We bonded instantly. He came to our Montreal teacher training in 2011 with some of the Fight School crew (Natalie, Serena Christoph, Emily). Serena and him taught some Capoeira at the teacher training and then at our Acroyoga Fusion Throwdown where we explored the fusion of breaking (break-dance), capoeira and acroyoga. My art, my work, my joy of the past 9 years has been gathering people around the dream that we can be in balance with one another, that we can never tire of playing with gravity like children, that we can be witnessed and witness each other in moments vulnerable and strong, that we can open ourselves to the wisdom and possibilities of our bodies and experience sweat, beauty, love, poetry, more sweat toge...ther and become drunk with life! Katharina Bauer made this video that I so adore from our first Acroyoga Montreal teacher training in Europe in 2017. I am ever grateful to Jessie Goldberg, Eugene Poku and Jill Campbell for a humbling, challenging and transformative decade of co-teaching, co-creating and making the impossible, possible. I am looking back on a beautiful decade made possible by so many incredible souls ... if you are reading this you are probably one of them ... Thank you!
