At Artists Collective Theatre recognize that racism exists and condemn racism in all its forms, whether subtle or overt. We also see and acknowledge the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and Regis Korchinski-Paquet, and the violence against protesters. As an organization we must raise our voice. We must do better. Black Lives Matter. We mourn with the families of the the lives cut short and the suffering of these communities. There is no room to tolerat...e hate in our society, or in our theatres. It is our responsibility to listen to those impacted and effected by racism. To sit in any discomfort and retrospectively look inward to our unconscious bias. It is our job to learn, read, and teach those around us of ways we can do better. We as a company pledge to do better. We will hold space for these stories to be shared, and look at how, as a company, we can contribute to a larger equitable community of artists.
