We’re really excited to announce that we are now taking registrations for our NEW SUMMER CLASSES in July & August... open to students in Grades 5-12. Classes will be shorter and limited to 6 students per group to ensure safe spacing for all. We’ll head outdoors whenever possible and will have lots of cleaning and sanitizing procedures in place! We’ll dance to great Musical Theatre tunes, try some Improv & Theatre Games and work on Monologues & Scenes from the Musical Theatre... Repertoire. But most importantly, we’ll provide a fun, safe and inspiring place for young performers to explore their creativity this summer! It's another difficult day for us here at Acting UP! as our Senior Company would normally have been at Metro Theatre this weekend, performing "Disney's The Little Mermaid". It's usually a weekend filled with emotions...the nervous energy of being in front of an audience for the first time, the thrill of that first curtain call and of course, the tears when we say goodbye to the show and our grads after an exhausting but exhilarating weekend. This year, there are still lots... of emotions, but of a different kind... the sadness of saying goodbye to something we've worked so hard for and the frustration of leaving things incomplete. At Acting UP!, we teach that the journey through rehearsals is just as important as the performance. So to our amazing, talented cast of young performers, try not to dwell on what was lost. Instead, think of everything you've gained this year... confidence, new skills and above all, friendships that will last well beyond any show! We're so proud of every single one of you! And while we may not have had that final adventure at the theatre, we did have an amazing year together! So hang on to the good memories until we can all sing and dance together again!

It's a hard day for all of us here at Acting UP! as today our Junior Company was meant to perform their musical "Joust" at Metro Theatre. But even though we didn't get to do our final show, we want to send out a huge congratulations to the entire cast & crew. You're all stars and we're incredibly proud of the amazing work you accomplished this year. Thanks for making our Thursday nights so much fun! So keep singing and dancing...and we'll be back together again soon!
