MESSAGE FROM Light up the Hills: We are sorry to have to announce that, while the lights will still "ignite" at 7:00PM on Sunday, December 1, the rest of the Li...ght Up The Hills festivities are cancelled for this year. Due to a major winter storm being forecast for tomorrow night, December 1, with freezing rain, ice pellets, snow and high winds, the organizers have had to make a hard decision to cancel the festivities. Canadians are a hardy bunch, but our volunteers put in hours of work on December 1 and to do so much of it in horrible weather, is asking a lot. Although they're so awesome they probably would...and even smile while doing it!
