Casting for union/UBCP film, reshoots for a film that was shot in Mexico. June 21st in Vancouver or environs. Looking for fluent/native Spanish speakers, ideall...y Mexican/Latin American Spanish. If you're interested, please email [email protected]. Payment is UBCP scale with 75% buyout (non-union actors are welcome to apply). This is a horror/thriller film so parents of young actors will want to review material before sending kids in for an audition: (Principal) ISABELLA Female 28 - 38 Isabella is seeking out a new life with her children. They are about to meet up with a coyote (smugglers who facilitate the migration of people across the MexicoUnited States) when she asks her kids to stay behind as she takes money to her husband to pay their way across. Little does she know that she will never see them again. Must be fluent/native Spanish speaker (preferably Mexican/Latin American Spanish). (Principal) LILLIANA Female 5 - 8 Lilliana is very scared as she and her family await to be smuggled across the Mexico-U.S. border. But when her mother leaves her and her brother behind as she takes the payment to the coyote, the two siblings face a horrific sight that takes them from this world. Must be fluent/native Spanish speaker (preferably Mexican/Latin American Spanish). (Principal) RICARDO Male 10 - 13 Ricardo tries to be brave and unflappable as he and his family await a coyote to take them over the border. But when his mother leaves him and his sister behind as she takes the money to the coyote, he faces a horror that not even his courageous spirit can combat. Must be fluent/native Spanish speaker (preferably Mexican/Latin American Spanish). Do NOT PM/DM me here. Please email: [email protected]

QOTD: "Go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no... mattr how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing n the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something." -Kurt Vonnegut See more
