Wishing you and yours a happy Thanksgiving. This year, we are grateful for having had the opportunity to expand our place of practice and the services we offer to High Prairie. Thank you for your support; we hope to continue to improve access to eye care in our community for years to come. Our office will be closed today for Thanksgiving, but will reopen tomorrow for our normal hours.
Have you met our team of optometrists, opticians and support staff at Acuity Eye Care? Our office offers experience and the latest technology along with assessible appointment times. Stop waiting and start seeing better. Call or visit us online to book your next exam.
Did you know that events that cause a concussion or black eye can also have significant effects on your eye health? Be sure to let your optometrist know about any history of these and consider coming in for a check up if either occur. #WhatWeDoWednesday
Thanks to Mayor Panasiuk for stopping by to see our new office!
Did you know that the inside of your eyes cannot feel pain? This means that any loss of or change in vision should be taken very seriously. A sudden difference in vision may be an eye health emergency. If either happens to you or somebody you know, call us right away to figure out what to do. #WhatWeDoWednesday
Please note our hours will be altered next week so that our office can observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Thursday. If you're looking for a Monday or Tuesday eye appointment, Dr. Waayenberg will be in Monday-Wednesday. Call or visit us online at www.AcuityEyeCare.ca to book.
Ocular coherence tomography (OCT) uses light to capture images of structures within the eye. Our optometrists can use these images to detect and monitor eye diseases as well as see changes underneath the surface of the back of the eyes. OCT imaging is just one of the many technologies we offer our patients. #WhatWeDoWednesday
