OBJECTIVES a) To promote Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture education in the health care of the general public and to promote scientific research.... b) To serve as a bond and educational vehicle for; practitioners and students of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, related health professions and those interested in the promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. c) To conduct seminars and hold provincial symposiums for continued education upgrading and teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture professionals. d) To help set curriculum standards for provincial colleges of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. e) To protect patients from potential harm posed by unqualified practitioners. f) To seek the possibilities of legislative regulation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture as a separate and distinct profession primarily in Nova Scotia and across Canada.
