There’s nothing I enjoy more than transforming an existing and uninspiring area into a new, attractive, functional and dare I say #Pinterestworthy area . The clients were thrilled with the finished product! Removing the doors and increasing the height of the opening made the space above the shelf much more accessible and useful, the built in drawers and bench along with the pop-up lid for extra secret storage really help make the most of the space, plus who needs doors when the inside of your closet looks this great!!! Here are a few pics of a house we did some work on a little while back. All new windows on the main floor, and an entire kitchen reno. We changed the layout and moved a few walls to create more cabinet space and a much more open feel. It really changed the feel of the entire main floor. Here is a piece of furniture I built for myself. This project isn’t actually finished yet, I plan to add drawers in each of the the cubbies for the records and a drawer in the space below the receiver. This is my first project using Cherry wood, it’s not the cheapest product to build furniture with but is it ever beautiful with a Tung Oil finish . Design by Melissa Wilson and Jackson Vasicek
