I must say this is the cutest but the saddest! This pandemic has really started to hit home. We are staying home to stay safe, to keep our loved ones healthy an...d to flatten the curve. . The reality is this is going to be lasting a long time this new normal. . . The other day was the first time in 8 weeks that we went for a drive to get my 8 month old his 6 month shots and let me tell you what a reality check. - - My son who has known nothing but being social with people had to hold his excitement when he saw people and kids - he had to wear a mask which he did so well but didn’t understand why. All he knows is there is a virus that hurts people and we can’t let the germs get us. - - My baby had a melt down the moment another person held him, now I understand babies are alway play strange with people but he unfortunately he is growing up seeing people via screens not having the knowledge of physical touch. - - We need to give credit to these little warriors; to all the Children. Their lives have been flipped upside down. - This new normal is not what I want my kids and or future kids to have to grow up in- the hard truth is just as hard and depressing this can be on us parents mentally; these innocent little people have no idea the extent of what is happening. They just want to love and share the love. - - So parents we have to stay strong for our children. We are in this together! Let’s not just stay home to stay healthy and keep our high risk safe!
