A bit about me! 1) Coffee or Tea? % coffee 2) Favourite design style? Transitional, moody design. I love mixing new trends with traditional elements to give a long lasting aesthetic. For my own spaces I tend to pull darker tones and use black as a common accent.... 3) Dogs or cats? I love all animals but am very much a dog person. I would love to have a hobby farm one day with goats, a donkey, chickens, and all the dog's . 4) Relax or Exploration Vacation? A balance of both is great but I'm definitely more about exploration. I got to backpack Europe in 2016 and it was the greatest experience. I can't wait to go back! 5) Favourite recent movie? The Gentleman 6) Why Interior design? I grew up in an old house that was constantly being renovated. This made me fall in love with the puzzle of spatial planning, combining finishes, and getting see my visualization come to life. I worked as a visual merchandiser after high school as I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. After lots of thought I decided to go with my passion and get my BA in Interior Design! After graduating I started Adair Designs, and am getting a speciality knowledge in Kitchen designs. 7) What was unexpected? When I met my husband he was in school for marketing. He has always had a talent for working with his hands and was doing repair work while in school. After graduating he decided not to use his diploma but continue his Home remodel/repair business. This fall we did a condo design project together and got to see how well we work together! We are now in the process of combining our two businesses I am very grateful to God for blessing me with so much and can't wait to continue sharing our growth! Thanks for reading

I can't tell you how excited I am for this kitchen to be a reality! The home is from 1914 and the back of the house was an extension for two bedrooms. Taking out the wall opened the space to allow for a great island for entertainingWe also uncovered a beautiful brick wall that we are keeping exposed! This project is enroute to be completed this spring.

Yesterday was a busy day. It started out with going to @centuratile to source some tile, then checked on the brick wall progress! (Also a little Christmas shopping ). This brick wall exposure was a giant job..and mess...but tons of character to expose from this century home . I'm not in love with how orange the brick is, so we're going to experiment with a brick lacquer that will help darken it. Has anyone done this before? Would love some tips!! #help

One of my favourite local places is downtown Galt! The beautiful buildings along side the Grand River makes for a pretty good photoshoot spot but I usually go to check out the surroundings to see if inspiration will hit! #interiordesign #notreadyforwinter #galtlove @thewestcoastconnection7

Things are looking fresh I got spoiled and not only did I get the apartment painted, my husband Nick Wiens @the_nick_fix did the majority of the work. Shout out to my dad who helped while my mom and I shopped at @homesensecanada , (who else is ecstatic they're open?! ).
