I missed my studio space and the shadow/light it produces. . . . I am beyond thankful for all the wonderful people I had the chance to work with over this past year. This includes not just the models, but the makeup artists, hairstylists, designers, other photographers and friends/family that come along as support. They have helped me continue to growth and develop as a photographer and artist. In 2018 I committed to myself that I would not chase opportunity, I would let it come to me. It was by far my most successful year yet. In 2019 I w...ant to continue to make time for the people who value what goes into this art and appreciate the individuals involved. I want to assist other photographers. I want to shoot with people who share that creative spark and love to collaborate. Sorry for the click bait, but I deal with this all the time. People often look for epic during the shoot. Sometimes that doesn't happen until you see the finished product. Attitude and creativity make for amazing shoots. Not the perfect location or epic time of day.

A couple weeks back Breanna and I finally got a chance to head out for a shoot. With her mom and I in tow, she took us through the woods to one of my favorite spots to shoot. So pleased with the results.

It has been far too long since I posted a shoot on here. My Instagram has been getting all of my attention these days. I put out a call to see who was free the other day to shoot in one of my favourite spots. Both Dakota and Kat quickly raised their hands and agreed to do a duo shoot. The conditions were rough but the images are magic. Looking forward to doing more wooded shoots this summer.

I don't have a lot of fitness work in my portfolio and was a little nervous when Chelsea approached me to do a fitness set with her. She was patient as I played around with some lighting and was a blast to work with. Hard to believe she isn't planning to compete until later this year.

My good friend L'Tycha Olsen from LT Olsen- Esthetician, Nail tech, Makeup artist and I have been building up her makeup portfolio and my photography portfolio. We both had a friday off and put a call out to see who wanted to be done up. Malia Kong (aka Malia Model) was quick to put her hand up and the three of us spent a morning getting a little lost, shooting, doing makeup, laughing, taking selfies and generally having an awesome time. Looking forward to seeing what the three of us do next.

I loved the energy of this shoot. Assa sent me a note through Instagram asking about setting up a session and we were able to find a schedule match pretty quick. She brought along Rendesha for moral support. The two were hilarious and we had a blast taking some photos. Keep your eye out for the next set in the next few weeks. Should be stunning!

This hallway was the perfect place for a shoot and Brittany graciously volunteered to come to the city with her favorite red dress. It was our first time working together although we had been following each others work for awhile. Taryn, a mutual friend tagged along and did an amazing job are running through poses in the background. The building cleaners may have thought it a little strange but we all love the results.
