Good Evening Lincoln! On the last day of virtual learning, I wanted to send a big Thank-you to all the TEACHERS, ECE’s, and EA’s out there. The last 5 weeks have been extremely difficult, and it is important to recognize all the efforts and extreme patience in keeping our kids engaged and on track. Best of luck to everyone next week. Good morning Lincoln! I just wanted to reach out and gather some public opinion. Tonight at our Committee of the Whole meeting we will be discussing a proposal for a development in Beamsville on King Street. The developer is asking to sever a portion of the property of what is known as the Woodburn Cottage (Heritage site) so they can build townhouses on the adjacent property. This complex would run perpendicular to King Street. Please find attached a map to show the location, and a rendering of the proposed development. Please share your thoughts. Happy Sunday Lincoln! Hope everyone is getting out and staying active. Temperatures are cold, but the trails around town are plowed/packed down. Be sure to get out, get some fresh air and give yourself a break. I went for a bike ride up on the escarpment and it was fantastic. Saw a number of smiling faces and a few happy pooches too.
