Now that some of the restrictions have been lifted, I want to take the opportunity to spotlight some of the great local businesses we have in our area. Today I am spotlighting Funky Find. This store has been around for almost 25 years in the OEV area. They specialize in all things Mid-Century including furniture and decorative items and also make custom pieces such as shelves, and even clocks! Excited to post this complete transformation of an antique mahogany dining table. The finish was sun baked for many years and has been completely refreshed. The closeups really show the difference!

Here are a couple photos from a freshly completed restoration project. It's a cedar trunk with walnut veneer. The trunk needed some extensive veneer replacement and a complete refinish to the top. I also refreshed the sides, but kept the antique charm. Some of the before and after pics really show the difference!

With fall just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about projects around the house!
