Good morning All! Adams Army has had to make the difficult decision to no longer accept financial assistance applications at this time. With the current events... globally, we are forced to postpone Wasa Daze and without our fundraisers, we do not have the means to help families. The Golf Tournament at the Garrison will be postponed until further notice. Adamstock will be dependent on the current status of the pandemic and we will make a decision in the coming weeks if we can go ahead with it. Our hearts are breaking for the families that have children in treatments as they do not have an immune system to fight off this virus. We sincerely hope that they are all able to stay safe at this time and we wish we could continue to help those in need. Please remember that most charitable organizations rely a lot on community fundraisers to stay afloat and they will all struggle during a crisis like this. From all of us at Adams Army, please stay safe and take care. We will update in regards to Adamstock at a later date. -Daris President

Have you not been to Adamstock before and want to know more about why we do what we do????? Adam was 1 when he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. Went in to remission, it came back when he was 2. He was 7 when he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Went in to remission. He was 14 and was diagnosed terminally. He lost his battle at the age of 16 on November 28 2014. Adamstock began with a dream. To give Adam the best, last birthday an almost 15 year old could ever dream of. H...e loved Boonstock! So we gave him Adamstock. A total surprise! Brought him out to a field in a limo in the middle of nowhere and gave him his very own music festival for his birthday! He loved it! He was still with us for his 16th and wanted to do it again to raise money to help other families. So Adams Army Charitable Foundation was born. We are a registered charitable organization and we provide financial assistance to families undergoing cancer treatments. Most cancer patients do not receive a lot of financial assistance. Moms/dads have to quit their job to stay with their child. They go from two incomes to one, single parents go to zero income! We pay bills, rent/mortgage, health bills that aren’t covered, car payments, food, gas....the list is endless! We provide assistance to all of Alberta and moving into the East Kootenay’s of B.C. So many families need our help! Come support your local artists, come hear Adam’s story, come for a great time with great people! 100% of the proceeds go to Adams Army Charitable Foundation! Bands can submit bios and links to [email protected] Check out adamsarmy.ca Vendors can email [email protected] Ticket info will be posted in the coming weeks!
