Much talk now about "self care" nowadays. Big buzz word! But even the most pathological relationships will tell you, "You have to take care of yourself!" Then they'll refuse to allow you to choose that without meting out some form of punishment. "Ohh, well we didn't bother to invite you to the party because you said you needed some time to yourself" (six weeks earlier). Those are the kinds of relationships they talk about in # 6. ... Self care is building your Inner Trust bank account, giving when it feels right rather than when it is "rewarded", and choosing to be the focus of your own life. And yep. A lot of people might really hate you for it. Ohhhh well.

Super important insight (published last summer) but it's really an obvious risk. Proton pump inhibitors used to control stomach acid can make users significantly more (200-300% moreso) susceptible to Covid-19. This is presumably true of any infection. How? Simple. Stomach acid is a key component of the body's immune protection. Hydrochloric acid "kills bugs on contact!" just like that old 70s commercial. Okay, it takes a few minutes. But read up on it. There are other way...s to "control" dyspepsia, the cause of which is not addressed by OTC or prescription medications. A common cause is simple dehydration. Sometimes stress, obesity... The list goes on. Reducing stomach acid also makes it much harder for your body to absorb nutrients out of its food, proteins and Iron in particular. There are real consequences to this "habit". I suggest looking to alternatives. See more

Many cells in the body contain specialized light receptors! Not just the eyes!! Knowing the importance of light and its effective reception both consciously and physically is a fundament of mental, physical and emotional health. Give your brain Light bath every day! Twenty minutes of outdoors, rain or shine, is all it takes. Meditating with the visualization of liquid Golden Light around the brain can lift mood and uplift the mind's capacity to receive information on many ...levels. https://www.scientificamerican.com/ar/seeing-without-eyes1/

How did I become a healer? First step was to heal myself from about a half-dozen different things which I was assured were incurable... Next~!!

Healing is not only personal, it is also systemic. Fundamental to personal wellness is our ability to live in a world which does not constrain us or impede our capacity to grow as individuals or to serve the greater good on the basis of our race, gender or creed. Without freedom from systemic barriers for all, not one of us can truly be free.

In case you had not heard, a reminder: Margarine is crap. Why?? Hydrogenation creates bad fats from good. Don't eat it. Don't cook with it. It might have applications in mechanical lubrication. Jury's still out on that. Butter or animal fat (tallow) are heat stable for cooking. For veggie options, use cocoa butter, coconut oil or unrefined palm kernel oil to cook with. All others which are liquid at room temp, use AFTER you're done cooking. :) That's right. Do not use oli...ve oil or veggie oils for cooking! Heat changes the molecular chain and makes them into less healthy fats. Same for hemp, flax, etc. No heat! See more

One of the most difficult lessons of healing, of being in a healing process, of having done our Inner Work, is that there are those, often closest to us by proximity, who can never manage how we have changed. They will work for decades to try to put us back into their comfort zone, where THEY need us to be. Don't go. Keep on being the butterfly. One day they too will realize... The chrysalis is not just a safe place. It can be a prison.

What does a person require in order to heal? A listening ear, an understanding heart. A path to get there. A plan, some ideas, a little fire in the heart. Understanding, simple steps, a guide to allow one's own body, mind and emotions to do what comes naturally. A solid tow rope sometimes, when you can't do it alone. Healing is a process, and sometimes it can take a while. I'm here for all of it.
