A busy day at the Adelaide for Remembrance Day. Local MP Darrell Samson lays a wreath at the Adelaide on behalf of the federal government. The Waverley Legion Ladies Auxiliary dropped by and entertained with a basket of time tested songs. In which they opened with O'Canada and ended with God Save the Queen. Well done ladies! An emotional rendition of In Flanders Field. Lots of family visitors, food and great conversation. All made for a special day as every resident has been affected by "the war to end all wars" in some way. Especially the two war-brides we have the pleasure of their company in our home.
