At our Point Grey Tolmie project, the house is really starting to take shape! The main floor concrete has been poured and forming of the main floor concrete walls has begun. We officially broke ground over at MRV, our latest Mount Pleasant project. Our demo permit came in and we deconstructed the house (with a 93% recycle rate) in record time. Over at Ambassador in Whistler, we are in full sprint. The garage is shaping up nice and the backfill is in. Inside the house, drywall and painters have been in and out while the exterior rain screen and outsulation is in the process of being installed. With the addition of a third project (MRV), we are as busy as can be!

At our Ambassador site in Whistler, things are moving faster than ever. The hemlock ceilings are fully installed and look incredible, while the hardwood flooring has also been installed and fully protected for the duration of the project. All of the concrete for the garage has been poured, the torch-on roof completed and the area around the garage has been back-filled. Did I mention we’ve been busy?! Over at our Tolmie site in Point Grey, the crew has been busy framing, pouring and stripping the foundation. We’re super pleased with how the concrete turned out, much thanks to our amazing sub-trades. Next up will be working towards the suspended slab pour.

We blinked and it's July! Lots going on at both of our sites right now. Over at Ambassador in Whistler, the garage is all formed up and has replaced the massive excavation we did last month. Inside, the hemlock ceiling throughout the living room is almost complete, and the drywall boarding is up! In Point Grey at our Tolmie site, the name of the game has been forming, forming, forming. The beginning of the month brought the pour of the footings and since then it's been wall forming to get ready for the foundation pour.

This past month brought a huge expansion to Adisa - we officially started our second major build, the Tolmie Project in Point Grey with renowned architect splyce design! At the Tolmie site, we saw the property shift immensely throughout the demo and excavation process. We threw an army of the Adisa team at the footings and had them framed up in record timing. Things are off to a great start we officially have our building permit and the concrete pour happened earlier this w...eek. Over at our Ambassador project things are moving along nicely and we’re officially past the halfway point of the build. Over a week was spent carving a monster crater in the mountain (shoring, excavating) which will soon be the garage. Forming, rebar and pouring of the footings happened at the same time as Tolmie - twinning! The enveloping of the exterior is complete, and the hemlock for the ceilings has arrived and installation will start shortly. The interior is about to get a major facelift!

A firm believer that a rising tide lifts all boats, Joe is a master at dreaming big, making it happen and somehow bringing his nearest and dearest along with him. While you can usually find him in the office these days, he still loves to get back on the tools to get a little dirty with the crew now and then. With the Stuv fireplace installed now as well, things are beginning to feel a lot more homey. Back in Vancouver, our newest Point Grey residence is in the process of demolition and we've started hiring more crew members. The team is growing and we couldn't be more excited for this next chapter!

March signaled the end of winter (and an official hello to Spring!) and with it a slew of exciting new milestones on our Ambassador site. Rough-ins for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and gas are all complete. With the additional sub-trade crews around, our on-site crew tripled in size for a few days. The ginormous sliding doors arrived, and thanks to the hulk-effort of our crew, made it safely inside. Lastly, the torch on roof is complete. It's been a busy month! Oh, and to top it all off, our fearless leader, Joe MacMullin got married. Congratulations to Joe and Chelsea MacMullin!

February, being a short month, flew by (despite the cold snap that had us huddling in the tools room to warm up). The name of the game is still framing but things are going up FAST! Interior framing continues and stylized exterior framing is fully under way. Our plumbing and HVAC teams have been on site completing rough-in's. It's always nice to share space with familiar faces we love to work with. Lastly, doors and windows have arrived and will be going in soon!
