BCCA is happy to share the news that: Cheer Canada has received provisional recognition as the national sport federation governing cheerleading in Canada from t...he Canadian Olympic Committee. This milestone demonstrates the credibility of our sport and recognizes the work by all who are actively participating in various committees and provincial sports organizations,'' said Cheer Canada President, Jim Greenough. Permanent status by the Canadian Olympic Committee will be finalized no later than December 31, 2019.
