Thinking of you on Mother’s Day Repost @thedailyjennypodcast
Has anyone else had the unfortunate experience of trying to balance aloft one of these circles of disappointment postpartum? I have yet to meet someone w...ho has found this comfortable for their healing bottom. I think it would be better put to use as a flotation device for a doll. I highly recommend trying a memory foam cushion instead (the one on the right)

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can help build community and connection in the New Year. As a doula, I’ve supported many birthing and postpartum fa...milies (virtually) during the pandemic, and I know the social isolation has been hard on them. As we navigate the pandemic and restrictions on social gatherings throughout the winter, birthing and postpartum families will continue to be impacted. Parents navigating the newborn period need to be able to talk to others about their challenges and successes. It can make all the difference in their mental and emotional health. So I've created a few online offerings to help bring us together. Starting in January, I’m offering an online postnatal yoga class and a parent chat on Thursdays. These classes will run almost back to back, so you can join one, or both! They are come-as-you-are classes. You can bounce your baby, soothe your baby, feed your baby, and change diapers whenever you need to The yoga class is designed to safely support postpartum recovery, get you moving, and build strength. The parent chat is a great way to connect with others in a non-judgmental space, and talk about all things baby and parenting. I hope you will join me!
