TBDHU is working closely with Adult and Teen Challenge of Central Canada regarding COVID-19 cases involving their men’s and women’s centres in Thunder Bay. Two cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed with several other individuals considered probable cases at this time. This situation is being managed as an outbreak. Confirmed and probable cases along with other individuals at risk are all isolating. Adult and Teen Challenge operates two stores in Thunder Bay: the Christma...s store on N. Cumberland St and Super Thrift on Johnson Avenue. The stores have been closed temporarily as a precaution while we continue the investigation. At this time, customers who visited either store prior to their closures are not considered to be at elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19. Working with Adult and Teen Challenge, TBDHU continues to follow up and manage this situation.
