Students and staff from St. Benedict CSS celebrate the value, acceptance, and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome. Today, the Learning Support Center classes walked in recognition of Canadian Down Syndrome Awareness week.

Happy Thanksgiving, We at Adult Enrichment Center are very thankful that our families continue to put their trust in our program and care to create a safe environment despite the pandemic. We are very thankful about our expansion and opening of our Wellness Program in Val Caron, during these difficult time. Another safe place where our staff can provide services and care.... We are thankful for our recipents who have shown resiliency and flexibility in adapting to our new routines and the demands due to the pandemic. I am very thankful for our staff, who have extended themselves each and everyday when required and have worked doubles and went without days off. This long weekend we challenge you to be thankful. You may need to look and dig a little harder then usual to find it. It may be very difficult at times. You may need to take a little longer to reflect on it. But we are sure that taking the time to be thankful will make our community better and more then anything make you happier. By choosing to show gratitude and be thankful we will be happier regardless of the pandemic. Stay well
