STARTS TODAY! At NOON!

After the 2013/2014 flood waters coming close to our cottage we decided to be proactive and like many others and sank over $10,000 into our cottage and raised i...t approximately 6’ (30) over the 100 year flood mark. Never in our wildest dreams did we think that we were in the danger zone once again. Please keep sharing the post, keep pressure on all officials as none of us know the extent of damage until the water recedes to normal levels where wind and waves won’t cause further damage and everyone is able to inspect there basements and footings etc. We are pushing forward in hopes of getting an independent study to get answers so that the resolve is something all flood victims can benefit from. If you know people in different areas like Mattawa and other areas share with them so they to can join our efforts! Please sign the petition...just a few cottages on F Road Allumette Island!
