Our team welcomes Meg Thorenton, RMT. Meg graduated with honours from the 2-year intensive Massage Therapy Program at Algonquin College in 2018. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from Carleton University in 2008 and a diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts from Algonquin College in 2011. Meg was born and raised in Barrhaven and grew up playing basketball and soccer in the community. She spent 10 years working in and around the medical field until ...she was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident that brought her to Advanced Massage Therapy Clinic for treatment. Meg was so impressed and fascinated by the care she received there that she went into the field herself. She is happy to have come full circle and be working at the clinic that started it all for her. Meg’s interests include prenatal massage, TMJ, relaxation and deep tissue massage. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and baking.
