Lock downs and covid in general has been difficult for us all. This is my parents, my best friends and biggest supporters the last time we were aloud to get together on their property. It seems like an eternity ago already, but I am so grateful for our phone calls and technology allowing us to stay in touch. I'm blessed to have the relationship I do with my parents and an amazing support system in general around me in everything I do.

I love black and white photography. But more then that I love that I can highlight peoples personalities and true beauty.

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful gal yesterday at Falk Nurseries. Thank you so much to them for allowing us to use their gorgeous space and being so accommodating.

I've been pretty absent as of late and I want to start by apologizing for that. This time has been incredibly difficult for many in some way or another, myself included. Not being able to see my amazing clients, family and friends has been hard. I made the choice to cancel my studio rental and have been held up at home since before the lock down. ... Last week despite doing everything right my husband and I both contracted covid-19. In darkness find light I'm excited to share that I have been asked to join the 2022 Manitoba Games digital marketing committee! It seems so far away but it has given me something to look forward to in these uncertain times. I can't wait to be a part of such an amazing community event and meet so many wonderful people.

Remember as we get closer to the holiday season in this crazy world we are living in family is important. Play that game your child is asking to play. Tell your spouse you love them. Hold hands as you watch a movie together. Take a minute to phone your parents or siblings just to say hi. These times are hard for all of us but remember the things that are important and that we are all in this together. Don't be scared to reach out to someone if you need to.
