Chicago. Last weekend I visited Chicago for a work trip. I was excited to see a new part of The States. Chicago in winter is beautiful, if you can handle the wind. I am not kidding about the wind (why its windy). My hotel had a revolving door, and every morning I risked being blown back through it when I tried to walk out, which made for a hilarious morning routine. Last weekend in London my best friend and I decided to try a coffee making course- I found the course on Groupon and I bought it for him as a birthday gift. It was a bit of a lifesaver actually as he's the annoying sort of successful person who has everything already, but he loves coffee so this was a done deal. London’s Kew Gardens is a weird wonderland departure from London proper which is why I’m taking @therealrosaire as part of our London adventure next month- bring on the Victorian glass houses and tumbling vines. #urbanjungle #followmefaraway #botanicals #tropicalvibes #adventureenthusiasts #travelblogger #londontourist #solotraveller

I wrote this post during my first month in Toronto. Two years on and looking back, it makes me smile the kind of crinkly smile that goes right up to my ears. There's nothing quite like your first Fall colours hike in Toronto to make you fall in love with this place. I'm pleased to say that I'm still just as excited as I was back then, having had lots of adventures and mishaps and ups and downs along the way, and I'm so glad that I took the time to document my first impressions here: [ 431 more words ] https://www.adventurebird.ca/my-first-fall-colours-hike-in/
