Good Day, I wanted to reach out to you, the membership, and let you know that we are aware this has been a difficult year. Some have been busier, some have not. Some made the transition to virtual events and client meetings easily and some have struggled. There has definitely been folks on both ends of each situation. The point that I am making is, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! While we would love to be able to offer our programming in a face to face environment, particularly the Update... Program, Advocis National has made the difficult decision to suspend all in person meetings through to the end of the year. This is not a decision that was made easily, we know that we have been pretty good here in Nova Scotia, and Atlantic for that matter, but from National's perspective it is a reputational risk to have even one case emerge from an Advocis event. With that being said, we do have the opportunity for you to partake in the Update 2020 program virtually. It is going to be a great couple of sessions and we will still be able to facilitate the break out sessions as we normally do for discussion on the material we will take in. I hope to see you there, to collaborate with some old friends and some new ones as we bring you Update 2020!
