SEAL IT UP! It's no secret that the duct work running through American homes leaks something awful. It's so bad there is now building code out there requiring n...ew duct work to be sealed and tested before a homeowner can move into a new house. But what do you do with all that old, existing duct work hidden behind walls and tucked tight into attics? It's hard to get to and expensive to retrofit...unless you seal it up from the inside, a novel idea being put into practice by a company called Aeroseal. We've worked with Aeroseal in the past and have had great success. You can take a system that's 30% inefficient and seal it so tight you get effectively 0% leakage.
