Hey folks. Looks like it's official. The CF-18 Demo team is locked and ready for AFD2021. Stay tuned for more exciting news.
On behalf of the 22 Wing Honorary Colonels, the organizing committee and the City of North Bay, we regret to announce that due to the coronavirus pandemic, both the daytime and evening Armed Forces Day events that were scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2020, have been cancelled. As health and safety are paramount to organizers, the decision was made to protect the public, volunteers and the Canadian Armed Forces SkyHawks, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the CF-18 Demonstration Team. Organizers thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.
We hope you are all safe. We've received this message from the Snowbirds and we want to share it with you...stay healthy and safe. As we receive more info, we will get it out to you.

What do Hornets and Lightning Bugs have in common? They both GLOW at night! Check out these Super Sweet CF-18 Super Hornet photos taken by 22 Wing Imagery Supervisor, MCpl Alana Morin. ... Cool to see the afterburners in the darkening twilight. I can't pick a favourite, so please share in the comments, which is yours? 1, 2, 3 or 4?
