These past 4 years under the NDP have been an unmitigated economic disaster. - 179,000 job losses and counting - $150 billion Alberta investment dollars redirected (mostly to the USA), - Calgary has the highest big city unemployment in North America and Edmonton is 3rd highest. - Craziest of all, Alberta that has a larger oil and gas reserve than the rest of North America combined. Every other oil-based economy in the world is doing well except Iran, Venezuela, a few corrupt economies in Africa and Alberta. Think about that!!! Socialism does not work... even if well intentioned, it has always failed and will always fail. Some of the nicest people I've ever known in politics are socialists... they're not bad, they are just wrong. Let's work together and VOTE UCP to restore Alberta as an economic powerhouse; a place that is also home to more Natural Park space (in acreage) than all the rest of Canada’s provinces combined. Stop the BS guilt about the environment. We have been and can still be BOTH economically strong and environmental responsible. See more
