AFP Southern Alberta is excited to offer an online study group to help those out at taking the Fundamentals of Fundraising course through AFP Global. There will be 8, 1 hour sessions, offered every 3 weeks starting January 21st until June 30th from 12-1pm. Each session will be facilitated by AFP Southern Alberta executive board members and they have lots of tips and tricks to share! The cost per session is $20 with a total investment of $160. Today is Day 7, the last day of National Philanthropy Week. Thanks for following along! We've had a great time celebrating all the award winners, and we've got one more for you today. The recipient of the Youth Philanthropist Award is the LEO Club of Lethbridge College! ... They were nominated for this award by Lethbridge College for their dedication to volunteering in the community. As students going into the field of public safety, they're getting a head start on their careers in a way that helps others. Learn more about their efforts in the video. This year's Southern Alberta Philanthropy Hero is Knud Petersen!... Lethbridge College nominated Knud for all the volunteer work he does for the college and for the community at large.
