McDonough Family Wildlife Conservation Fund grant from Conservation Centers for Species Survival - C2S2 to advance our ground breaking work in Eastern Loggerhead Shrike conservation. Our goal is to double the release capacity of Loggerhead Shrikes into the wild. We are also excited to announce that our global partner, World Parrot Trust, has received a grant to support conservation efforts to release healthy populations of blue-throated macaws back into their natural habitat in Bolivia. It's National Bison Day! Bison are often mistaken for Buffalo, but there is a clear distinction between the two Bison have small curved horns, a huge hump on their back and are a shaggy animal with a big head! Buffalo have very large and long horns, no hump and have short hair with a small head.
