Finished this small solid wood coffee table the other day. It’s done with a base color acrylic pour followed by a hand painted mandala and the. Sealed and topped with a durable solid resin epoxy. This table wipes clean thanks to the epoxy and doesn’t require coasters. This is currently available for curbside pick up at Gateway to The Arts. I love this little piece and would love to keep it but I don’t have room! This will be a great addition to someone’s home or cottage! Cost: $180.00 taxes included.

Here is prompt #2 be sure to post your pieces! For details and past prompts read the whole post below the stars.... PROMPT #2 Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.... Henry David Thoreau The color for this theme is blue so be sure to use some or a lot of blue! **************************** So what now? Here we are again in lockdown... as such the studio is closed to in person classes and events... so what I would like to do is spark some creative thought amongst my patrons! I’m currently recuperating from some health issues and have a considerable amount of downtime. So my thought is this... every two days (starting tomorrow, Monday) I will post a saying, word or image. YOUR CHALLENGE SHOULD YOU ACCEPT IT... is to turn that prompt into a piece of artwork and post a photo within 24 hours to this page. At the end of the lock down I’ll create a multimedia video featuring pieces created during this second and unprecedented lockdown. I am planning to focus on a few new styles and techniques while we are locked down and I’d love to encourage you to do the same. Having an issue with creative block? Message me and we can try to work through it! If you are willing and able to step out of your comfort zone, style, medium and age do not matter, maybe do it as a family or with a group of friends safely online... I’ll see if I can’t get some of my co-artists Gateway to The Arts to participate and offer their special takes on pieces as well. Let’s face it we have the downtime why not have some fun with it? If you’re in comment below. I’ll post the first prompt tomorrow around 10am.
