We’ve updated our list of symptoms for Albertans under 18. Effective November 2, children with no known exposure to COVID-19 don’t have to isolate if they have ...a runny nose or sore throat. If they have a runny nose or sore throat, the child should stay home and be monitored for 24 hours. Anyone under 18 with a cough, fever, shortness of breath, or loss of taste/smell should stay home and isolate for 10 days. Use the AHS Online Assessment Tool or call Health Link 811 to arrange for testing and to receive info on isolation. Learn more: https://www.alberta.ca/covid-19-testing-in-alberta.aspx
In celebration of National Child Day, November 20, 2020, the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Alberta is excited to share this video that talks about... how as a busy parent, you need quality child care to help you balance your family and career. The quality of your child’s critical early learning is closely linked to the qualifications of the early childhood educators who provide it. Visit www.aecea.ca/quality to show your support for high-quality early learning and child care and Alberta’s early childhood educators.
