We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives. Dick Young...one of our favourite guests. He brings love, respect and humour wherever he goes. Attached is a video he and his grandson Jimmy produced following our moose hunt expedition. Enjoy!!!!

This was our last day of hunting. I felt blessed to have experienced this adventure with stew. I never understood the need or thrill of hunting until now. Just the time spent calling and getting responses was thrill enough for me. We hunted with friends who are avid hunters. We did not harvest but our time together was memorable. In total we saw 10 moose. 3 bulls and the remaining were cows with calves. Until next season ....

Last morning hunt. Excitement again!!!! Too bad stew didn’t have a partner that could help instead of me cowering out of sight. If you are interested in a hunt that uses all you skills in shooting, calling and tracking then archery is what you are looking for. These past 10 days have been one of the biggest learning experiences for me. One of the biggest tests of Patience for stew haha. I don’t think I was a big assist with the hunt... maybe in the kitchen.

Day 7. One of the most beautiful mornings I can remember. Eerie in one respect. Watching a beautiful sunrise, fog rolling through and the howling of wolves in the background. Mother Nature at her best.
