Agilec Peterborough/Lakefield is excited to announce that we are back in the office and re-energized in our commitment to help turn the tables on hunger in Peterborough. The Kawartha Food Share and their volunteers continuously amaze us with their dedication to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry and we are determined to help any way we can. We fundraise each year continuously for our Turn the Table campaign. However, around the beginning of COVID 19, we realized ...that there was a strong need in the community so In March, we were privileged to help with a donation of $300. We are committed to doing more, with the growing uncertainty surrounding our community. We will keep up our fundraising efforts and aim to make another large donation in time for the holidays, another huge time of need. We are selling masks that a team member sews and having various lunches and small events to fundraise. We will continue to support our candidates and we will continue to raise money for Kawartha Food Share, where every dollar donated buys $6 worth of food.
