Last Seen is relaunched! Directed by Judith Giesberg at Villanova University, Last Seen recovers stories of families separated by slavery. Search thousands of ads taken out by former slaves, help transcribe them, & see how educators use them in the classroom. Kudos to Agile's Anneliese Dehner for the new look & navigation. https://informationwanted.org

We're delighted to announce the launch of the Louisiana Slave Conspiracies website, which Agile's Bill Kennedy and Quinn Dombrowski have worked on for the past several years under the direction of Bryan Wagner at the University of California, Berkeley. LSC a collaborative research project dedicated to preserving, digitizing, transcribing, translating, and analyzing manuscripts related to two slave conspiracies organized at the Pointe Coupée Post in the Spanish territory of Lo...uisiana in 1791 and 1795. The website uses a custom facing-page display to present French and Spanish manuscripts alongside original transcriptions and English translations, permitting users to search, browse, and navigate among documents and interactive maps derived from a database tracking persons, places, and assertions. You can visit the site here: https://lsc.berkeley.edu/

So impressed by the massive effort that the DH crew at Carnegie Mellon has undertaken to curate community-sourced contributions to the Digital Humanities Literacy Guidebook. Agile's Bill Kennedy and Matt Milner delivered the design for its Jekyll-based platform. Many thanks to the Mellon Foundation for its investment in DH and to Scott Weingart, Matthew Lincoln, and Susan Grunewald for their exceptional collegiality and invitation to collaborate. Take a tour and reach out to the folks at CMU if you have something to contribute to the collection. https://cmu-lib.github.io/dhlg/
