A day in the life: Load and unload product and equipment using a forklift Move product and equipment around the company yard, as needed ... Pressure wash large pieces of equipment before they are serviced for repairs General labour tasks, as requested by the client You bring: A mature individual, who is a professional team player A valid forklift license, with experience operating a forklift around high-value equipment Love working outdoors, despite changing weather conditions Experience loading and unloading equipment and products from tractor trailers Fall arrest certification considered an asset Experience operating a scissor lift considered an asset Experience using a pressure washer considered an asset Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to pass a criminal record check What's in it for you? $14 per hour - paid weekly on Fridays Daytime hours - Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm On a bus route - conveniently located in Burnside Industrial Park Ready? Responsibilities/Tasks and Duties: Raw material and finished good preparation, testing and release according to approved test methods, procedures and standards; document test results Report non-conformances and ensure that any material that does not meet specification is controlled and segregated appropriately Conduct performance checks / calibration verification and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment on time Participate in set up of new lab test equipment, method development, and procedure reviews Support internal and external audits as required Ability to work shift work Other duties as assigned. Years of experience: Minimum 2 years in lab environment preferred Experience with ISO 17025, ISO 13485:2016 and/or ISO 9001-2015 expectations Other: Equipment/Instrumentation Used: Quality and quantity checks via measuring equipment as defined by specifications. Software Knowledge needed: Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and any experience with statistical software packages (i.e. Minitab). Knowledge of SAP an asset.
