Minister Mike Holland blowing a gasket when asked about glyphosate spraying in an area where firefighters were during a forest fire on Crown land in Chipman on August 23. A spokesperson for the Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development denied it happened but a Right to Information request proves it happened not once but twice!

Liberal elitism has shown itself once again in the NB Liberal press release issued this morning where they double down on their decision to support shutting dow...n the Legislature due to COVID. It seems there are two sets of rules, one for the hardworking NB’er that got up this morning, had his/her coffee and went to work... the other for elitist Liberal politicians who go by a different standard. The Liberal message is clear: If you are employed in healthcare, retail, restaurants, bars, daycares, grocery stores, home support, banks, shops, schools, emergency services, strip clubs, hair salons, etc., you should continue on your regular job. If you’re elected, not so much. The Legislature has in place a COVID operational plan with reduced seating, hand washing, temperature checks, social distancing, and masks to mitigate risks just like every public and private sector workplace must do. This decision to close the heartbeat of democracy sends the wrong message which is why no other legislature in the country, including Atlantic Canada, has closed due to COVID.

Years before electing an MLA the PANB has been calling for an end to duality in healthcare and a merging of the Province's two bilingual health authorities. Despite being the first to call for this cost saving measure, we get ignored by Brunswick News now that it is a hot topic. The People's Alliance has written an open letter to BNI complaining about the biased and lack of reporting we receive.
Kris Austin scrums with media about the shut down of the legislature. Democracy is essential.

Interesting what's happening once folks decided to give one of the old parties a majority again. Apparently many thought the Leopard had miraculously changed its' spots. Doesn't appear to be the case. https://www.cbc.ca//rural-communities-face-tough-budgets-1
And so the cuts begin. Rather than address the core issue of staffing shortages let's just close the darn thing. Much easier and cheaper too. Totally in line with this governments mentality. https://www.cbc.ca//new-/perth-andover-hospital-1.5760790

People’s Alliance leader Kris Austin speaks to supporters.
The People’s Alliance is so proud of our leader Kris Austin and his wife Amanda for their willingness to put their personal lives aside to work for New Brunswick. A call to public life is often a difficult road to travel. Thank you both!
Congratulations leader Kris Austin and Michelle Conroy on your re-election. Thank you to all PANB candidates who stepped up to offer real change for our province. Thank you to the many volunteers who worked so hard. Thank you to all the supporters who believe in, and contribute to the future of New Brunswick. We are here, we will be in the legislature pushing for positive changes and holding the government accountable.
We will be watching the results "live" tonight from the Fredericton Inn, starting at 7 pm. Supporters are welcome to attend, covid restrictions are in place and space is limited. Please bring a mask, wear lots of purple!!
Today is the day New Brunswick will make a very important decision. There are two clear choices: 1. MAJORITY GOVERNMENT where one party holds all the power. W...e’ve tried that for 100yrs and clearly it hasn’t worked well for the people. (vote red or blue). 2. MINORITY GOVERNMENT where no one party gets to call all the shots. Instead, government requires collaboration to ensure good decisions are made and bad decisions are stopped. (vote People’s Alliance). If you’re thinking Green to keep the minority situation, NB will face an election every 6 months. Greens proved their instability over the past two years by repeatedly voting against government confidence motions. We have proven that the People’s Alliance can (and has) provided both stability and accountability. You do not need to choose between having a stable government and keeping the same government accountable. You can have both with a vote for the People’s Alliance. Consider these things carefully, the future of our province depends on it. Be sure to vote today and thank you for your Support!
