If there is one question I hear most often from my clients it’s what should we wear to our session? . And for most sessions I recommend that mom picks her outfit first and uses that as a guide for everyone else. If a mom wears something she loves and feels great in, she’ll feel more confident in her photos and cherish them even more! . As a general guideline, stick to 3 or 4 colours for the group and try to add pops of those colours throughout the family (gone are the d...ays of white shirts and khaki pants for everyone). Add in a few textures and patterns, throw in a few accessories and you’re all set! If you and your kids have some fun necklaces, earrings or hats you love, I encourage you to wear them! Not only do they add variety to your photos, they showcase a bit of your personalities as well. . Bottom line, don’t sweat it! The more comfortable and relaxed you all feel, the better your photos will turn out. I’m really hoping these restrictions ease up soon and I look forward to capturing more memories for your families this year See more
Looks like it’ll be cozy kisses and cuddles under a blanket in the frosty air for a few more weeks. Here’s hoping our lockdown is done for good by the end of the month.
Happy First Monday of 2021! Aren’t these 2 the cutest? I am still booking outdoor sessions throughout winter and with this beautiful, mild weather we’ve been having, it’s a wonderful time for some updated family shots. I am also booking indoor newborn and family sessions for when the lockdown is lifted. Good luck to all the parents, kids and teachers out there who are tackling online learning this week!
Quick snowshoe adventure on our little slice of paradise. I will never get tired of looking at trees. They’re gorgeous in every season but there’s something special about them when they’re covered in an icy blanket of frost
I hope this Christmas was a great one for you all Thankfully, these last few days have been slow and quiet. We’ve been clearing snow, eating sugar, playing outside, attempting to clean the house, clearing more snow and looking forward to the new year Cheers to a safe and healthy 2021!
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas Hope you all stay warm and cozy
Fresh snow, sweet smiles and warm cuddles with this lovely family
How cute are these two?! Finishing up my edits for the year and looking forward to slowing down a bit over the next few weeks . I have yet to start wrapping gifts and I’m definitely not looking forward to it (I’m the WORST gift wrapper ever)
The sweetest moments
The first picture of sweet little Annabelle is how everyone felt back in December 2019. Her expression in the next one pretty much sums up how we all feel about 2020 at this point: completely over it
The last of my fall photo sessions . These last few months have been incredible and unexpectedly busy! I’m so thankful to have met so many beautiful families this year. I’m looking forward to the winter slowdown; to learning and growing to better serve my families in 2021! ** I still have gift certificates available (physical and virtual) in any amount **
