Join Dan Trottier and other CSSE members in an ongoing project to design a national agriculture safety strategy. Building on the results of our 2019 PDC worksho...p, join this webinar to see the emerging strategy, to contribute your expertise, and to take away ideas that will enhance protection for the very workers that put food on all of our tables. The agriculture sector in Canada is one of the most complex work environments and presents a challenge for Health and Safety professionals who offer advice and guidance. In an industry that is already heavily regulated for food safety, animal welfare, & environmental protection, the challenge will be generating momentum for yet another project. Participate in this webinar to help build that momentum. We will examine opportunities to engage and support the industry into 2020 and beyond, in leadership and at the farm gate. At the end of this session, participants will be able to: Review the current situation for Health and Safety in Agriculture Discuss concepts to improve safety at the farm gate Collaborate on a framework to improve the future of Agricultural Health and Safety in Canada https://csse.org/site/career-development/webinars
