Good morning happy people! Recently I’ve been thinking about what self care means to me, and what parts of it are truly important for both my mental and physical well-being. As you can probably tell, I’m a mom of 3, I work full time, I’m still renovating our new home (going on 8 months now), and I’ve been flip-flopping between tending to my basic needs and forgetting them entirely. With the new year upon us, picking a healthy and helpful and attainable goal, to me, ramping up... my self-care seems to be a good start. There is no downside. If you’re like me, and seem to have put yourself on the back burner, why not try to give back to yourself a little? I may be able to help. Why not light a candle and take a few minutes to yourself to just sit. Just be. Stop cleaning and laundry and dishes, leave the toys all over the place and just focus on the flame.
